Dear Fellow Members:
The Annual Meeting and Election of Officers of the Suffolk Obedience Training Club will be held at the club on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Program: Board Vote, Annual Report to Members, Member Q&A, Craft Night. Refreshments will be served.
The Nominating Committee has submitted the following candidates for the Board of Governors for the coming year.

The board has a vacancy for the class of 2030. If you would be willing to donate your time as a board trustee, please email Beth Moose (bmoose6289@verizon.net) or ask any board volunteer about the experience.
Any member whose name does not appear on the list selected by the Nominating Committee may submit a nomination if his or her name is endorsed by at least five other members in writing and filed with the Secretary of the club at least three weeks prior to the Annual Meeting. Deadline for filing a petitionary nomination is Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
Remember, dues are payable by October 31 and must be paid before the Annual Meeting (i.e., not later than Wednesday, November 4). No member shall vote at any meeting of the club unless his or her dues have been paid at least one week prior to that meeting, according to Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution and By-Laws of the club. If you have any questions regarding the election, please contact Beth, election committee chair, or Caryn, Secretary (caryn.meirs@gmail.com or 631-807-6803).

October is membership renewal month. Membership renewal forms have been mailed out. You can always print one from here or pick one up at the club. Save a stamp — forms can be dropped off at the club - please use the renewal mailbox by the desk.
